Sumie KatoSumie Woodtly was born in Japan. After graduating from the Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo she was working as fashion designer and business consultant. For three years she has been teaching Oshibana (Japanese pressed flower craft).

1998 Sumie Woodtly became a Permanent Makeup artist and began her work at the Nandaimon Spa in Utsunomiya. After further training at the Takigawa Aesthetic School she opened the Beauty Salon Amam. Here, Sumie Kato has been offering Permanent Makeup, Bridal Makeup, facial treatments and various massages for 26 years.

2011 advanced training as Thai massage instructor (390 hours) at the International Training Massage School ITM in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After that, 6 months language stay in New Zealand.

Since 2014, Sumie Woodtly lives in Bern. She speaks Japanese, English and is learning German. Treatments are offered in all 3 languages.
